Reflective Log

On the 29^th October we were put into groups. These groups were decided by our teachers. Than in that lesson we had decided what media practitioners we were going to do our work on. We all had to pick different careers as well e.g. one person does photography than maybe graphic designers. This made it tricky for our class as people were not allowed to pick the same person/group. We also did some research on the person we did and this made us get more information on our designer.

On the 5^th November we had did our own pages for our magazine. This made us be ready for the day we have to put it onto the group magazine. We than had some group clashes where people were not in when work was needed to be done as a group. This pushed our group work back as a whole as we couldn’t keep up with things and were struggling to communicate as a group. This made us feel pushed back by a lot of work and made us struggle to complete the work.

On the 12^th November we had were near the stage where all the group work was needed to start to be put together and fix any errors which were in our work. We were forced to do more and more work for one person as there was one person who wasn’t doing anything and wasn’t participating enough in our group. This made us have a really bad setback for our work. Than our group was always getting called out for always lacking behind in our work due to the fact our group work wasn’t on the same pace as everyone else. We decided in that week whose work we will follow and the person we had decided in our group was Jaya. This was because of the fact her layout and colours which were used are bright and simple.

I am aware that this hasn't been done weekly this is due to the fact of us not sticking to the scheme of work from the assignment brief.
